Roundslings, made of durable, high strength materials, are light-weight and flexible in construction. Roundslings, like web slings, are gentle to the load and provide some protection to fragile loads. A roundsling is seamless and tubular in construction with no stitched edges to become snagged or ruptured. In addition, roundslings are color coded according to capacities to allow easy identification while the soft pliable body of a round sling allows it to hug uneven and odd-shaped loads. Polyester roundslings stretch nearly 3% at the rated capacity and will return to the original length after the load is released. The cover of a roundsling protects load bearing yarns from ultra-violet degradation as well as abrasion. A roundsling is the cost effective choice in high capacity lifting or pulling applications.

| Use and Inspection: Before each use, all slings, fastenings and attachments should be inspected for defects and damage. Additional inspections should be performed on a regular basis. These slings adapt to all types, sizes, and load configurations while remaining lightweight and easy to rig, clean, and store. They offer excellent resistance to UV light, rot, and mildew. They also do not lose any strength in water and reach only 3% elongation.
This product can be exposed to high heat up to a maximum of 180°. Additionally, the absence of any metal parts in this product eliminates rust concerns and reduces the need for wear pads.
Rated Loads cited are based on minimum pin diameters shown in WSTDA-WS-1. Pin Diameters smaller than these may reduce the rated load of the sling.
Colour guidelines for polyester round sling covers are widely used to indicate the vertical rated load of round slings: however this is not followed by some manufacturers. Always select and use round slings by the rated load as shown on the sling identification tag.
